I love the mystery plant game! Is it salpiglossis? (it has some funny other name too–Old man’s tongue or something. Beautiful flower!

I think you’re right. This is what I found once you pointed me in the right direction. I’d never seen this flower before. I took this picture at Disneyland, of all places!
‘Salpiglossis sinuata, Painted Tongue, Scalloped Tube Tongue, or Velvet Trumpet Flower, is a flowering plant in the family Solanaceae, native to southern Chile’
That’s it, Painted Tongue, not Old Man’s Tongue! Time to get seeds! More mystery plants, please!
