This is my 900th post on 3000Tomatoes.com and I think it appropriate to be humble on this momentous occasion by sharing the fact that I blew it with some incorrect info a few posts back.
I posted pictures of a blooming tree and identified it as a Tipuana Tipu when in fact it is a Cassia leptophylla aka Gold Medallion tree. Don Schultz, the Program Coordinator for Ornamental Horticulture at Cuyamaca College wrote a comment after the post pointing this out to me. The two trees do have similarities, but they are very different and I appreciate the correction.
Soooo, thank you Don for taking the time to inform me of my error, and hey everybody, the Program Coordinator for Ornamental Horticulture at Cuyamaca College is reading my blog!
Bart doesn’t care about 900 posts or the trees, he’s more interested in soil quality. Too much clay and the soil won’t embed well into his fur, but too much sand won’t stay in his coat long enough to bring the maximum amount into the house and on to the furniture. It’s a science really.
