Library Flowers

by Leslie Crawford on February 24, 2010Thank you

It’s my turn to do library flowers again for the garden club, so this is what I came up with last night. It’s hard to go too wrong with succulents! Aren’t these colors great?!

Your succulent design is fabulous, Leslie. It drew me in from across the lobby of the library the other day. The visual impact of the colors and shapes is very aesthetically appealing. The winding trail of grey and red rocks is delightful. You hit another home run with this one. Consider me one of your biggest fans.

Thanks Barbara. It’s hard to go wrong with succulents. The colors are so beautiful. I love rocks, too, so it comes together pretty easily. Now, if you hand me a bunch of flowers, it will be a mess when I’m done! Nice to see you at the Designer Luncheon today. You won some great raffle items!

Your arrangement is gorgeous and perhaps worth a few casualties, but, I’d like full disclosure, did any succulent die in the making of that arrangement??;-)

Glad you like my arrangement. I have finally reached a point with my succulents collection that it doesn’t hurt when I cut them. None of them was harmed in the making of this arrangement, just temporarily placed in an arrangement until I repurpose them into another pot. LOVE those succulents!
