I was up in North County yesterday and stopped by a nursery I had heard about, Gardens By The Sea. Located at 1500 N. Coast Highway (about halfway between Leucadia Blvd and La Costa Blvd), it is set back slightly from the street and not easy to see, but a friend told me it was just south of the Leucadia Donut Shop, so I knew to pay better attention as I passed that landmark.
The nursery is nicely laid out, the plants were plentiful, and they have an excellent selection of succulents. The owners were very helpful and knowledgable, and I thought everything was very reasonably priced. I even got a little freebie succulent! Nice…..
It’s nice to have another nursery to wander through, and I love that it’s on PCH! If you are in North County stop by.
