Alleys don’t the get accolades they deserve. There’s a lot of interesting stuff going on in alleys if you take the time to look. I took a ride around my neighborhood the other day and found all these great vignettes. Ohhhmmm……

Balboa Park

Balboa Park is a place I don’t visit as often as I should. Everytime I have the opportunity to wander through the park I am amazed at all there is to see, plant-wise. I was in the park on Friday and I took a walk through the Succulents Garden that sits between Park Blvd and Pershing Drive. There’s a lot to see but you have to get out of your car and walk in to see the best of garden. It’s worth it!

Record Temperatures in San Diego

According to records dating to 1850, 81 degrees is the highest January temperature recorded in San Diego. Well, Coronado surpassed that yesterday with a temperature of 86 degrees!!!
