Alleys don’t the get accolades they deserve. There’s a lot of interesting stuff going on in alleys if you take the time to look. I took a ride around my neighborhood the other day and found all these great vignettes. Ohhhmmm……

Balboa Park is a place I don’t visit as often as I should. Everytime I have the opportunity to wander through the park I am amazed at all there is to see, plant-wise. I was in the park on Friday and I took a walk through the Succulents Garden that sits between Park Blvd and Pershing Drive. There’s a lot to see but you have to get out of your car and walk in to see the best of garden. It’s worth it!
